I just tried Avalon its like a really boring DOTA.

Try Heroes of Newerth its much more fun DOTA game and has better graphics. I would play it more but don't have any friends to play it with....

I have 3 that I can give away if you guys want to try it out.

Its alot more fun and a better interface.

HoN is in my opinion like a more bugged dota but with more nice graphic. If you want a game like that just play League of Legends like I do! Sure it's not as awesome graphic or whatever but atleast its different and unique. Levelsystem on the account, skilltree for you as the summoner/player, summoner/player spells. And matchmaking system owns.
