I tried it but nothing has changed.
I even cleaned my registry before reinstalling the new client with the last updates but it still doesn't work.

I visited the uk forum and they are talking about that problem. For now, Alaplya doesn't understand it and doesn't know how to fix it...

download internet explorer 8 and it should work again.

@tonix

one of our chars are stuck in pro channel or sth... so we cant enter there until they restart the server or a new patch comes out.. both will take some time.

I took a look to the german forum and some of members are talking about windows update and internet explorer 8. But 1 guy also say that it works with internet 7 at least. And it seems to concern the "MD5..." problem, not the "patch server" one.
Atm i have IE 7 but maybe Sam has the n°8.

Anyway, thx for the information. a support told me that the corean were working on a new patch to fix this problem.

i didnt say that u are using it ... i said u shall download IE 8 to solve the problem Smile

it helps in case u have this message : " Failed retrieving MD5 from the Update list File. CODE: LC_10 "

if not it wont help i guess Sad

Our error message is "could not connect to patch server. (2)" and it's not a firewall, router or antivirus problem even if it looks like.

so I have decided to stop FT, i'm sorry but i won't change my decision....

...except if you all give me some stuffs when I'll come back ! Twisted Evil

But seriously, Alaplaya really sucks and i'm very boring of that.

i press on FT icon and error messagt "cannot connect to patch server"

SOLUTION:

1. Rightclick on desktop and select "New Shortcut"
2. Press "Browse"
3. Locate your FT folder and select FT_Client.exe
4. You should see the path and the exefile name now in the textbox
5. Add a space and /auto in the textbox and then click next
example "C:\alaplaya\FantasyTennis\FT_Client.exe /auto"
6. Give your shortcut a name, doesnt matter what.
7. Double click the new shortcut - game skip bug 'could not connect'

do u have the update? if NOT i will send it to you! or ask nicole she send it to you via MSN (hshiled folder)

Thx a lot it works for me.
Nevertheless if you don't have the last version of the game you need to get ths last HSshield folder (90 files) + the 3 .exe files from the last version : FT_client.exe, Updater.exe, launcher.exe.

After you replaced these files with the last ones you can do what Sam said.
