Question about battle ??

I am noob battle. So I have a question about battle. If I put element enchantment on my clothes, it is defensive. it is possible to put same thing on every parts of my clothes such as Wind 50% on upper and 50% on pant = 100% Wind defensive, isn't it?? ... I am confused :-P
If someone knows, please explain to me :-)

you can put+9 element on clothe +9 = 100%

if you have 2 element who is can be enchant you can put +9 wind and +9 fire exemple

Yes it is. That is the most usual way to get +9 def. Example: fire lvl 5 on upper and fire lvl 4 on pants = fire lvl 9 (against souls)
